My first session back after a long quarantine break couldn't have been any sweeter. Capturing newborns at home with their parents and siblings will always have my heart. Welcome to the world beautiful boy.

For this session I went exploring around the Vanderbilt Mansion grounds on a warm November day with one of my favorite families. There was no shortage of beautiful spots to grab photos and no shortage of interesting little nooks and corners to wander through. And there was clearly no shortage of fun and giggles!
Caitlin and James are expecting their second little girl this Fall and we met up recently to document their last memories as a family of three, before they become four. We explored a park where Caitlin played as a child and re-discovered it with her husband and her daughter-who is clearly very excited to become a big sister! It rained on and off but we certainly weren't going to let it dampen the day!
I have known Jackie and Mike for a long time and was thrilled to hear of their impending nuptials and that I would be there to document it as I have documented many of their big life celebrations! What was to be a small, garden ceremony turned into a sweet, surprise Town Hall elopement. With their beautiful daughter in tow and a few close family and friends they wed in late August and committed to continue for eternity the life and family they already share together.
Lifestyle newborn sessions are some of my favorite to capture. Babies bring such happiness and excitement to a family that is nearly impossible to hide, despite any nervousness or hesitancy they may have about being in front of a camera. Two week old Emily Grace was no exception. She is gorgeous and it was evident that her family was over the moon at her arrival. They were clearly at ease as a new family of four and big brother - little sister love was written in every frame. ![]() Sandra & John Louis were married in an intimate and beautiful ceremony on a gorgeous, late afternoon in June. Overlooking the water, they said their vows and committed to each other and the family they have already created. Their son was there to witness it and I was honored to be there to capture it. No superfluous formalities; just family, love and genuine happiness.
I recently had the pleasure of photographing Wendy and Mike at West Meadow Beach just two weeks before Wendy's due date. They are expecting their first child and they couldn't have been lovelier. Wendy was glowing and though I was meeting them for the first time I could tell they were both brimming with anticipation to meet their baby and that they will be amazing parents! It was an absolute thrill to get to document this special time in their lives!
